Ksenia Nosikova, praised for “impressive musicianship” and “refined sensibility and exquisite pianism, fascinating to watch and hear” by the Boston Globe and New York Concert Reviews, has appeared at major concert venues and festivals, including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Hong Kong City Hall Theatre, Shanghai City Hall, Chetham’s International Piano Series in England, Dame Myra Hess concert series in US, and Aspen and Sarasota Music Festivals in the US. Among her numerous critically-acclaimed recordings are the complete Years of Pilgrimage by Franz Liszt, called an ‘outstanding achievement’ by Classics Today.
Graduate of Moscow Conservatory and University of Colorado, Dr. Nosikova is a Professor of Piano at the University of Iowa. Her students won prizes at various competitions, including New York, Eastman Young Artist, Liszt-Garrison, and Hilton Head international piano competitions, and were accepted to leading music programs, including Curtis, Juilliard, Colburn, Eastman, and Peabody. She is an Honorable Professor of Music at the Shenyang Normal and Wenzhou Universities, China and a guest artist faculty of the Schlern and Amalfi Coast Music Festivals in Italy. She is a Steinway Artist.
